Hi all,
I have a PXI-1050 PXI/SCXI Combination chasis in which I use PXI-6229 Analog card & SCXI-1102 thermocouple amplifier. I created a single Analog task which comprises 32 Analog channels(from PXI-6229) & 32 Thermcouple channels(from SCXi-1102). When I start this task it takes around 3 secs to execute the 'DAQmx Start Task.vi'. Sometimes it takes around 25 secs to start the task. In NI knowledge base (Start Task Delay), I found that SCXI start task will take 3 secs to execute. I run this start task vi in a timed loop. When I run the timed loop in 100ms time period, the start task delay is 3 secs. If I run the timed loop in 1sec time period, the start task delay is around 25 secs. Anyone know how the start task delay is related to timed loop period?. I want to reduce the extra 25 sec delay in 1 sec timed loop.
Below are the timed loop parameters
Loop time Source : 1MHz
Period-(dt) : 1000000 ticks (equal to 1 sec)
Offset-(t0) : 5000000 ticks (equal to 5 sec)
Deadline : 1050000 ticks
Thanks,
Raja
