SENIOR LABVIEW/TESTSTAND DEVELOPER NEEDED

The WIRELESS DESIGN TEAM at TEXAS INSTRUMENTS is looking for an expert
LabVIEW (5+ years) programmer and TESTAND (2+ years) system expert in
Dallas, Texas. We have a LabVIEW/TESTSTAND automated characterization
environment to test very complex 2.5 and 3.0G cell phone ICs.

The position I need to fill is almost exclusively a hands-on software
development role with a heavy emphasis on GPIB/VXI instrumentation.
This person will be responsible for designing & developing a suite
LabVIEW libraries and then generating tightly integrated TestStand
sequences around them in order to perform complex, automated tests for
mixed-signal, power management and RF blocks. Much of the code that
is generated will be released into a golden library
for use throughout
the Wireless Characterization Branch. I am looking for someone with a
great deal of experience that would be able to work with minimal
supervision. This position will require project-management skills but
little or no man-management. If I was able to hire the right person,
he/she could become the lead engineer over the entire
LabVIEW/TestStand automated environment.

Very strong LabVIEW is required with as much TESTSTAND experience as
possible. Experience with VXI and GPIB instruments a big plus. Other
languages like VB, C, LabWindows also a plus. This person should have
real-world test experience.

Bachelor degree is a minimum requirement.
