SM2315 animatics smart motor ActiveX control

I have a SM2315D animatics smartMotor and i want to control it with ActiveX in LabView.  I found some threads for registering the .dll file.  Once that is done i cant seem to get any of the commands to work.  Does anybody have code that has worked with ActiveX and a smartMortor besides the older labview visa files?

Also, you can request a driver at: http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.request_driver.  Though there is no guarantee that a driver will be developed, R&D does take a look at all request and evaluate the need for such a driver.
