SRV Blackfin JPEG Image

Hi Support,
 
I am a student from Singapore and i am working on the SRV Blackfin Robot. I am using Labview 8.6 to programming the robot. I am able to get it to move and also having the image. But i am not able to get the movement and the Image to work together so i am hoping that you all might have an answer to this question.
 
There is also another problem i am facing. Because i want to use the jpeg image to do image processing to program it to edge detect and also object avoidance. But i have come up with some part of the decode to jpeg myself and with some online help. But i am unable to convert the image that is colored to greyscale for the image processing and believe something is not very right with my decoder as the image will not work with most IMAQ Vi once i am able to get the image.

Do you have vision development module installed? Did you try extracting the "luminance plane" in extract color plane. What is the output you are getting?

i do have the module installed. i am not sure about the 'luminance plane' Function. I have attached the VI.

The above VIs will allow me to get the image. But i would not be able to send the movement command in the same VI. And i am also unable to get to do image processing.

For image processing it is best to have the "vision develoment module" installed
