Here I thought I was doing a good deed for the day reporting the top thread as spam when I first logged on this morning. Until I went back to the forum to notice that at lest the next 20 pages (got tired of clicking) were all filled with spam.![]()

It was about 200 pages of spam by the time it ended.

I still see evacanada come up with SPAM every once in a while

Evacanada was one of the users who was permanently blocked and I see no posts in that user's activity. If you see a post please select Options and Report to a Moderator so we can remove it.
Thanks,

Jordan,
I saw one come up within the last 10-15 minutes. Before I could report it, my browser refreshed and it had been removed.

Which is exactly what I did. The last post I saw was gone within 30 seconds of me reporting it. I'm sure you guys are on top of things.

Great! Thanks so much.
Yeah it looks like these spammers are relentless. Thanks for working to keep our forums clean!

Last time I checked it was actually about 330 pages of 30 messages each, with most of the pages probably not containing one legit post. It seemed like the bot was hitting the board with about half a dozen accounts with more than one message per minute per account. Strangely I only found one spam post in the non LabVIEW boards I checked.

May have had some way of checking the busiest bored and hitting that. Of course the time it was hit was on a weekend when moderating was obviously at its lowest. It got cleared up relatively fast this morning though which I commend NI and Lithium on. It's kind of like internet vandelism. Every time I see it, all I can think is "What's the point?"

I have the same thought. Spamming came about as an advertisement ploy. Now they are more annoying than telemarketers. But at this level, I think it is purely malicious in nature. No real point except to hurt and/or annoy people.
