Save a File with Excel closed

Hi, I'm working in a project, I want to simulate a Combined Cycle Power Plant and I need to send the information of my process varaibles (data and graphs) every number of cycles to some Excel files (.xls) but I don't want to open Excel, just keep the information without lose it.
I hope someone can help me.
I'm using LabVIEW 8.2 and the Report Generation Toolkit 1.1.1

Seriously,
RaFa

When you use the "New Report.vi", there is a connector on the top of the vi (when on the block diagram) that is labeled Window State.  The options are: No change, Maximized, Normal, Minimized.  Set it to No change (assuming Excel is normally closed) and it will not display Excel whenever you write data to the file.
