Save entire hierarchy LV 6i

How do I save the entire hierarchy of a VI in Labview 6i?  My problem is, when I open the VI using Labview 8.x (I know, it's quite a leap in versions)  I am prompted that VI "AI Read One Scan.vi" cannot be found.

Is this a result of LV 8 using DAQmx, and doesn't support the "old" analog input VI?

If I open the LV 6i in LV 7.1, will LV 7.1 recognize the "AI Read One Scan.vi"?

It's part of the traditional DAQ toolkit. I think you can install this in LabVIEW 8.x, look in the driver CD.
