Gerd: That's called "Source Distribution" in the english version of LV. 😉
But as i understand the OP was indeed looking for jumping between different LV versions! And that is nothing a source distribution can address, at least not to my knowledge.

Hi Norbert,
1984 never said he wants to convert to different LabVIEW versions! There are two versions of "very similar" projects using lots of same subVI stuff.
And you can use "Save for previous" to generate a copy in the very same LabVIEW version you are working with…

True, but he marked Gregs reply for downconversion as solution.....

Its marked as the solution because I can select the same verion of labview I use (so its not really saved in a previous version), and it creates the folder strucutre I was looking for.
Thanks for the ideas from everybody.

Let me close this topic with a surprizing fact: when you hit "Save as" you can select duplicate hierarchy. Its funny that I use labview for about 10 years and never noticed this option.

Yes GerdW is correct, I'm sorry for the confusion! I did suggest to use "Save for Previous Version...", but not to down convert!

If all of your VIs are in a project, you can click File >> Save for Previous Version... And then choose the version you want to save it for. You can, of course, select the same version of LabVIEW from the dropdown menu (I wouldn't want you to change the version every save!). Pick a new folder to save to and it will preserve your file structure.
