Scale Minor Tick Color = TRANSPARENT is/isn't allowed

LV 8.6.1f1 yet another bug.

New VI

Place a control having a scale (slider, for example) on the panel.

Stretch it out so it's nice and big.

Use the COLORING (brush) tool and pop up on a minor (in between numbers)  tick mark.

Set the color any where you like, including transparent.  The tick mark responds just like you'd expect.

Close the color window WITHOUT having changed the color.

Pop up on the scale with the finger tool and choose PROPERTIES.

Choose the SCALE tab.

Try to set the MINOR TICK COLOR to TRANSPARENT.

You can't.

Why?

Repeat for MAJOR tick marks.

Same answer.

Why?

Hello Steve,

Thank you for the report! I've file a corrective action request (CAR) for you CAR#179844 to our R&D group and hopefully we will have it fixed in future releases of LabVIEW.
