Scaling input signals

Hi forum,

 

i am wondering what is the best way to scale input signals i used the scaling.vi is there another way to do it more nice.

You could set up the scaling in MAX. Then when you read the channel the data is already in engineering units.

Hi,

 

ok thats a good point so i just add a scali in the to the daq task. Is it also possible to name the input channels so i dont have to do this later?

Yes, and once you have named the channels, you can use those names to refer to them in your LV code.
