Hello everyone,
I have a problem with the Scilab Gateway. I am installing an executable made on one computer with developmental version of LabVIEW on another freshly bought computer. This executable contains a Scilab script node in it and I am wondering if the target computer (new one) needs only the LabVIEW Run-Time Engine or the whole developmental version to run the executable ?
I already installed LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 6.1 and Scilab 5.4.1 versions but when I tried to set up the gateway, I encounter this error message : LabVIEW not detected. Installation aborted.
I looked around in the forum but I couldn't find any answers precise enough to fix this issue.
Thank you in advance for your answers,
Mathieu Delavignette

Are you really using LabVIEW 6.1? That's ancient!

(Here it says LabVIEW 8 or later)
Well, so am I. But, just a smidge more than 6.i
Perhaps, less ancient than a trilobyte 😗
I do try...
That silicon labs utility needs upgrade,. Unless you are targeting a pre- NT OS. At witch point I have to ask.... What is the target OS? Can you buy one machine that runs it without grand eBay skills?

Thank you
