Self-diagnostic fails with latest windows updates

After installing the latest updates for windows 2000, I found that I can no longer run the self-diagnostic for Labview 7.0 from the internet. These are the updates that cause the problem

KB896688, KB899589, KB900725, KB901017, KB902400, KB904706, KB905414, KB905495, KB905749.

Does anybody know of a patch or solution for this?

I have attached some instructions which I hope will sort the problem out.  Follow them through and if there is any further problems drop use another message.
