Sending data to MySQL Database

Hi all,
Im using Labview 6i and it appears from reading others questions that sending data to a database is possible. Can anyone tell me how to send a few lines of data selected from a text file to a MySQL database automatically. I have been reading about some extra database VI's. Do these come with the standard package or are these extras. Either way can someone point me in the right direction.
