Sending data to user

I am using the VI present at LabVIEW examples under "Help...Find Examples...Networking...Internet&Web......E-Mail Notification.vi". to send an email. The server name is showing invalid. Kindly let me know whether I can send data through  gmail email ID.Also let me know about the server settings.
