I have a problem with serial communications in Labview. I need to transmission with the parameters 9600baud and 9 Data bits. In the serial port init.vi it is only possible to set 9600 baub and 8 data bits. Is it possible to initiate a serial communication with 9 data bits?
hi, the same question you can find already answered by Kevin Kent - 7/6/1999- look @ "9 bit serial protocol" ; maybe you should next time first use the advanced search function in order to find answers
But i only can find the questions from the last month. How can i get the question from the 7/6/1999?

Does anyone know why long link-names are not fully functional without copying/pasting method? This is a new problem I hadn't seen here but recently - thanks, Doug

I think it's your mail program, not the newsgroup. I'm using Netscape Communicator 4.76 and clicking the link works fine for me. Is your mail program wrapping long lines?

The advanced search gives you the option of changing the date range. I don't think the one star rating is fair because you failed to expand the search range.
