Setting Up NI 9237 with Load Cells

All,

I am trying to set up a NI 9237 cDAQ module to read 4 signals from load cells, as follows;

Load Cell Capacity: 1000lb

Load Cell Sensitivity: 3mV/V

Excitation Voltage: 3.3V (Internal)

Bridge Configuration:  Full Bridge

I have AI+ connected to Pin 2, AI- to Pin 3, EX+ tp Pin 6, EX- to Pin 7, RS+ tied to EX+ (Jumper Pins 4 and 6), RS- tied to EX- (Jumper Pins 5 and 7), SC not connected

Questions:

1.  Have I wired this correctly?

2.  Can anyone post sample code which will display load values?

Hi Diarmaede,

As long as you follow this resource, you should be good to go. Also there are example codes that come with DAQmx in LabVIEW. You can go to Help>>FInd Examples in LabVIEW. In the following pop-up menu go to Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>> Analog Input>>Strain-Continuous Input.vi. These two resources should help you get started.
