Software: Windows 10, Labview 2019 32 Bit.
I am trying to communicate with an Eurotherm OPC Server using the OPC client IO server and shared variables. The problem is after the plant has been shutdown (electrically turned off) and then restarted, my display VI shows only zero for all values. It does not matter if I read one variable or all of them.
I have created the VI attatched which un-deploys all variables and then re-deploys them. Sometimes I need to run this more than once to get my display VI to display real data. MY OPC server is from Eurotherm and is running on the same PC. I can go into the IO modules on the server and see the data, so the server is fine. It would appear to be a problem with the shared variable engine. I am at a loss as what to do next. I would be gratefull for any help.
Included is a screenshot of the OPC Client configuration, an exerct from my variable list and the deploy VI.
Regards
Mark

Hi,
Have you tried reinstalling the SW? The electricity shut might cause some mess in directories, the reinstallation will get them in places.
Thx.
