Show Hide graph

Solved!

I have attached a VI in which I used a event structure to Hide and show a XY graph. I tried to do a similar thing with a Chart but could not. I want to use a chart because I read that charts are more efficient than graphs. In real, I am reading data from a DAQ but since I read one data one on demand, which is one data point per iteration of a while loop, the random number generator inside a while loop reflects my data acquition set up. The other thing is that the chart should also show those data points acquired when the chart was in the "hidden" state. Can someone please help me out.

Thanks

The VI posted by CC is version 9 (I think) and I am using version 8.5.1. I have a problem opening the VI. How to go about it?

No way to convert the vi to 8.5 (Memory manager error ..!? - I guess I should update my LV version...).

Here is a diagram picture. Nothing hidden in the other frames.

Thanks for the welcome.
I'll try to share some time again with the community. Don't know how long I'll be successful. 😉
