Shut down DataSocket Server programatically

Is it possible to shut down the DataSocket Server programatically?

I´ve tried the windows API VIs (Quit Application.vi) but the Server "hangs" in the Windows start bar (right corner beside windows clock).

It seems the Application cannot be "killed" this way. 

Is there any way to do so!?

     Just try with the program specified by following path.

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1\vi.lib\Platform\dataskt.llb\DataSocket Server Control.vi
