I'm trying to add the Sound_Output_Write.vi to a Signal Express project, but SE doesn't seem to want to open the vi. I get a "Please Select VI to Open" error even after selecting the VI. I am able to open Limiter-LV86.vi in the SE project as per the instructions in the "getting started with the NI Sound and Vibration Assistant" tutorial, however none of the VIs from the sound2 LLB which I'd like to use are opening. I am inserting the proper "Run Labview 2011 32 bit" object into the SE project as that's my labview version. How can I make this work?

I tried a few things to get Signal Express to throw an error when including a vi, and finally I got it to not work. Here is the error it produced, see if you are getting something similar:
Error occurred in Run LabVIEW 2011 (32-bit) VI step.
The VI is not executable. Please verify that the VI is not broken and saved as a Source Distribution (which "Includes vi.lib Files") and is within a Linked Library with the ".llb" extension.

I'm unable to get that error. Here's my process:
Starting with "SVA_Filter Response Using a Sweep.seproj" in Signal Express 5.0.0, with Sound and Vibration Assistant 11.0.0.
Run LabVIEW 2011 32-bit VI. "Error occurred in Run LabVIEW 2011 (32-bit) VI step. Please select a VI to open." is displayed, obviously becuase I haven't selected a VI yet.
However, after selecting C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 2011\vi.lib\sound2\lvsound2.llb\Sound Output Configure.vi, the same error is still displayed. I can click "Refresh VI" and toggle "Run this step automatically" but it still doesn't want to recognize the VI.
This has happened for all VIs which I've tried to select so far, except for the one from the Sound and Vibration Assistant Tutorial, which I've mentioned in my first post.

Hello dpm5109,
I finally got a VI to be successfully included in a Signal Express project. While working on a walk-through of what made it work I thought, "I wonder if this is already documented?"
Sure enough!
