Signal clipping using PXI-4461 Audio card

Hi,

We are using a PXI-4461 Audio card. We need to measure a sinusoidal signal that can be to up to 35 Vpeak. Now, we made sure to set the Gain to -20 dB, and set the max range to be +- 42.4V, following data sheet recommendations. However, for some reason, the signal is clipped at +- 10V, just like if the Gain was set to 0dB. We pretty much tried all channel properties without any success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don't have a solution for you, but a few questions to help tease out the cause of the problem...

Why is AI.max/min etc. set to 15 & -15?

Have you tried configuring a task in MAX with a custom scale and running the measurement on the task in MAX?
