Simulink6.1 (R14SP1) doesnt recognise our Ni M series 6229 card

We are working on a  dc motor position control in our lab and we are using simulink 6.1 (R14SP1) to form the block diagrams. But when we tried to send digital output we saw that  Simulink6.1 (R14SP1) doesnt recognise our Ni M series 6229 card. We deleted the whole program and reinstalled  but the problem persisted. The comical way in this problem that Matlab itself is recognizing the card but simulink not. ( In Simulink when we try to use any element of  the real time windows target menu  we cannot find our card in the list. ) Is there anyone who faced this problem before?

Hello!

It was a few years ago I worked with Matlab/Simulink and their data acquisition toolbox but I did some searches and found this:
http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-18NGX.html?product=DA&solution=1-18NGX

It seems like the toolbox is made for Matlab and not supposed to be used in Simulink but the link contains some information on how you can implement some.

A better solution depending on your setup and HW is to use our Simulation Interface Toolkit. Down below is info about the product:

NI LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit (now called the Model Interface Toolkit)
