Simultaneously collect and display multiple channels

Hi experts,

I am new for NI. I want to collect and display some AI channels simultaneously using my PC. My DAQ board is PCI-MIO-16E-4 with BNC-2090. I am using LabVIEW 7 Express. I used two DAQ assistant and merged signals. But only one channel was displayed and saved. How can I show all channels simultaneously? Thank you very much.

Hi Yong,

Congratulations with posting your first question on the Discussion Forums!

Regarding your VI, and the missing data; here are some tips:
  • Make sure that you see the data in the DAQ Assistant setup dialog when specifying the tasks.
  • When running the VI, click on the wires from the DAQ Assistants to probe (use the Graph) if there is any data flowing through them. Make sure that the expected data is sent from the DAQ Assistants.
  • Instead of having two separate analog input DAQ Assistants, specify the two channels "pressure1_Pr2" and "flow1_6SB123_ai0" in one DAQ Assistant, by clicking the small "Add" button inside the DAQ Assistant setup.
  • If it still doesn't work, remove the analog output part of the code to see if that helps.
Let us know what you get with the above recommendations, thanks.

Have Fun!

Philip,

Using one DAQ assistant for all the AI channels I want to display together solved the problem. Thank you very much.
