Hey Guys,
I am trying to use a cRIO 9012 with LabVIEW version 2014SP1. Can someone tell me the exact versions of the listed software that I need to communicate with and write to the cRIO?
RT Module
FPGA Module
NI-RIO Drivers
Do I also need any other software? Thanks!

Hi Mike,
You can use this link to view the minimum requirements for your device:
As you are using LabVIEW 2014 SP1 I would recommend using LabVIEW 2017 as this will have several bug fixes (from 2014), is backwards comparable.
NI CompactRIO 17.0 - NI CompactRIO Device Drivers May 2017
LabVIEW 2017 SP1 FPGA Module - English
LabVIEW 2017 Real-Time Module - English
Are you using Windows 10 by any chance? If so, you will run into issues when trying to compile your FPGA if you do not use the cloud compile service.

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using Windows 7

Also will LabVIEW 2017 still work with cRIO 9012? It's a pretty old version of the cRIO and even though 2017 is backwards compatible, I've still heard of there being issues.

That's great, then you should have no issues. If you do not have an active SSP (i.e. an active licence) with National Instruments then you will have to download the 2014 versions of driver. But preferably you would use 2017 which is the latest version supported in 2014.
Remember to Kudos if this solved your issue
