Sony Vaio laptop keeps crashing

I am using Sony Vaio for Labview. But Labview is very slow in the laptop. And with a 400kb vi that has serial inputs, some waveform charts and spreadsheet logging, crashes the laptop frequently with a blue screen popping from windows, with a message I dont have enough time to read, something about memory.

Thinking maybe I have some disk frag problems, I had the Sony Vaio laptop reformated. Installed Outlook, firefox, thunderbird, IE, microsoft office 2007. Run Labview, still very slow and crashes after a few minutes.  The Sony Vaio specs it should be compatible for Labview.

So do you guys have experience like this? What is the laptop you use that has no problems and recommend?

Is it LabVIEW in general that's slow, or is it your program. If it's your program, then what is your program doing? Is it pure LabVIEW code only, or are you using any DLLs? If you post your code then we can tell you if you're doing something wrong.

You might want to set the laptop so it doesn't automatically restart when it hits the blue screen.  See this link for steps how to do that.  Once you have enough time to read the blue screen and get the error message, you can search the forums or google for it.
