Sound file is locked after a Sound File Close

I noticed that after a "Sound File Close" the file is locked untill the application stops. I wanted to rename the file inside the VI but it was not possible. Renaming it from Windows Explorer gives the message that the file is in use. Only after stopping the execution is the file released.

Does anyone know anything about this?

My guess is that there is something wrong with your code.  Please attach the VI (no pictures, please) and let us "see for ourselves" (and maybe help you fix it).
