I have installed LabView 2021 on an M1 Mac running macOS Monterey. I can execute LabView programs that do not interact with the outside world. But the sound input function does not work properly. It executes without an error but returns all zeros. See the attached vi. 

I have run the Sound Device Info.vi and it does report that device 0 is my "MacBook Pro Microphone".

Any ideas?

Wow, could you please teach me How to install labview 2021on M1 Mac with MacOS Monterny? I have failed for many times. Each time when I open the installed LabView2021 on my M1 Mac , it will pop up ''LabView has crashed unexpectedly." and I'm going to be crazy!!!!! Help!!!!!

I wish that I had good advice for you. I first tried to install LabView on a Windows virtual machine using Parallels but that crashed Windows. So I gave up on that and decided to install LabView under macOS. It worked the first time with no problem. The problem is that I can’t access my sound input, and in a separate issue, I lose access to my DAQ drivers. I haven’t tried the serial port yet but I’m nervous that I won’t be able to access that as well.
