Source Code Control and Tye Def problem

I use Labview Built In Source Code control. I've noticed the following problem: First I check out a type def, alter it, save it and check it back in to source code control. That part is fine. However, when I go to another computer and try to pull down the updated type def from SCC with Get Latest Version, it will not overwrite the old type def that was residing on that computer. The only way I've found to get the new type def onto other computers is to first delete the old copy then use the SCC manager to bring it down. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi Jim!

I haven't heard of this occurring before. One thing I would check is the time clock of each of the computers. It's a longshot, but it's possible that the wrong time timestamp is being saved, resulting in the wrong "Latest Version." Also, does this occur on multiple computers? Also, does this only occur with TypeDefs, or with VIs also?

Hope this helps!
