Hi Miguel,
Could you clarify your question? As Vince mentioned (great research Vince!) and as chefweb implemented, designing a PCB connector for the external FX connector to access ADC and DAC is the way to go.

hello I am an academic user (student)
I am working with spartan3e and labview2009-mofulefpga. I am designing an impedance meter to measure cables that working with frequencies between 1-2 MHZ.
I need to generate a signal with dds method . That signal is taken out of DAC (A,B,C,or D) and introduced in a block (PCB),
I saw an example (to begin) in this website:
http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/6066
but I can' t to do run the files (for example FPGA DDS Generation Sine 1-ch ), because that examples are designed to targets NI RIO , and labview 8.5.1
My questions is: How I can set the parameters to run the files on spartan 3e?? How could I get the signal generated? Is there some information about dds on spartan 3e with labview 2009?
please advise

My questions is: How I can set the parameters to run the files on spartan 3e?? Is there some information about dds on spartan 3e with labview 2009, or Is there a course that includes the item direct digital synthesis (DDS on Spartan3 with labview 2009? or pay for a consultation on this issue? in National Insturments?
kind regards

Hi Pablo,
I'm not sure about the compatibility of those specific examples, but I do know that FPGA examples can be moved onto other targets explained here: Moving Examples to Another FPGA Target. Since the Spartan-3E appears in the project window in a similar fashion as an R-Series FPGA board, then FPGA examples originally targeted to NI-RIO may be able to be retargeted in a similar fashion. I hope this helps!

VT-Hokie thanks, now I'm trying to integrate the two examples and also considering what you said

Pablo:
I believe there is a series of tutorials on the NI Developer Zone for working with Spartan 3E targets. Below is the link to the material:

Good luck!
