Stanford Computer Optics CCD Camera

Has anyone used LabVIEW to control and/or acquire data from a Stanford Computer Optics CCD camera? I have a need to automate the control of my 4quikE camera. Any help would be very much appreciated.

The only documentation I could find for a 4quickE camera stated that it could be either an analog camera or digital camera. If it is a standard analog camera, the PCI-1410 or PCI-1407 would handle the signal fine.

If your camera is a digital camera - it is likely that it is parallel digital and if so, the PCI-1422 or 1424 parallel digital board would be able to input the signal.

If you already have a PCI board from Stanford Computer Optics to acquire the signal, then it will be difficult to get the image into LabVIEW if Stanford computer Optics does not have some LabVIEW vi's already. This would require tapping into the dll's that control the PCI board.

Also, I would recommend The Vision Development Module for analyzing images.

Hopefully that helps you out - good luck with your project!
