Hi Christy!
Would it be a possible to put together a tutorial that did NOT assume the reader is familiar with UML?
It is all of the UML terminology used in the tutorial that prompted me to forget about the State Chart Module and by the book "An Introduction to UML..." so I could understand what the tutorial was telling me.
Also.... at least as far as I got...
The tutorial had a lot of "do this then do this..." but did not explain what all of the steps accomplished.
I plan to return to the State Chart after I finish the "Introduction to UML..." book starting on about the 21st of this month.
"State Cahrt for Dummies" is waht I really need.

Have you checked out the statechart page? There is a webcast there that may be helpful. Also, there is a link to a page called Introduction to Statecharts that might contain some of the information you are looking for. Additionally, we are going to be having a virtual user group presentation on Statechart basics that will give more information and also provide opportunity to ask more questions. I will post the details on that as soon as I find out when it will be. I will also forward your request to our documentation developer to see if we can do a better job describing development with Statecharts.
Please let me know if I can answer any questions that you have.
