Status of Trigger signals in DAQmx

Hi,

Is it possible to obtain the status of the trigger signals used in the acquisition or generation in DAQmx programatically. For example, If I use a pulse to trigger a PFI line, do I have an option to know programmatically that a trigger has happend in this PFI line.

Based on the triigger status I want to stop the generation.

I have already posted a similar question in counters section, can you please help me in this regard.
