Are you sure NI is ditching LabWindows/CVI?
I think they need the compiler and knowledge for the various RT platforms.

I have attended a good training class and the instructor taught me from basic subvi creation to calibration. Obviously the trainer will teach u labVIEW and he unfortunately cannot read ur mind. I will suggest u first jot it down of what exactly u want and then approach ni support
