Strain Gage Rosette principal strain calculation

I'm using DaqMx to collect strain gage data from a rectangular rosette.

I'm trying to calculate:

Principal Strain 1 and 2

Principal strain angle

Max Shear STrain

Max shear strain angle

When icompare values i calculate manually to values that LabView calculates i get different results.  Can someone point me to a document that describes the calculation that Labview uses to get these values.

Check the help for documentation of algorithms. When you say the results are different, are we talking a lot? Are you sure everything is wired and configured correctly?
