Strain Gauge Instance of DAQmx...

Hi All,

Can I use the Strain Gauge Instance of DAQmx Create Virtual Channel with a standard analogue input module (or a DAQ card)?
OR
Do I need a special strain gauge module such as SCXI 1520 or SCXI 1122?
Yes, I supply my own bridge completion and excitation. 🙂

Setu,
I tried setting up a Strain global channel in MAX and it allowed me to do so with only a DAQ board installed. Some type of SCXI module is always recommended with strain gauges to reduce noise and for bridge completion. But it appeards you can create a channel without it. Hope this helps.
