I participate in the LabVIEW Forums a lot, almost always using Chrome as my Browser. I have a temporary "loaner" PC, with Chrome, and I noticed that a "Feature" in the Forums, the ability to turn on and off underlining by typing Ctrl-U, was missing -- typing that key combination whisked me away somewhere to view some page with HTML code.
I verified this seemed to be confined to my "borrowed" PC, and was restricted to Chrome (I'm using that PC, and am using Edge, which I do not prefer). I also noticed that when I use Chrome, its Icon in the Task Bar has an extra symbol (looks like a red "R") stuck on its (forgive the pun) Edge.
Here are pictures of the Edge and Chrome views.
You can see that Chrome, on the right, doesn't have the rows of "Shortcut icons" between the word Body and the place where you start typing.
Any ideas? I did try removing Chrome and re-installing it, but it behaves the same way, including having the red button with a white R at about the 5 o'clock position. None of my other PCs shows this.
Suggestions welcome. I'm going to make some tea, to take the Edge (no, Bob, don't do that!) off.

I'm replying on Chrome right now and I do see the toolbar. It took about 15 seconds to load. Edit: Ctrl + U seemed to work for me.

About the red 'R', try this link. It may be an extension that is causing the issue.

Wow, wow, wow! It took a few tries, a few Remove/Reinstall. I still have a "portrait" (a white circle with a black head-and-shoulders image in it) over the Taskbar Chrome icon when I open Chrome (my other PCs don't show this, and I tried to delete all saved Chrome content), but the keyboard, once again, belongs to me!
If I get around to it, I might do another removal, and also search out any "Google" or "Chrome" folders before trying to do another install. I certainly don't see the little character overlying the Chrome button in the Taskbar on any of my other machines, but at least I'm able to respond in the Forums again.
