Structured Exception error during NI software installation

I created an application installer by LabView8.2 and distributed to different PC for installation. The error message "The instruction at "0x%08lx" referenced memory at "0x%08lx", The memory could not be "%s". Detail: This can be done by intercepting a memory access violation [exception number 0C0000005h] was caused installation failure. How can I fix this issue? Thanks.

This is a very good question. However, I do need some extra info from you if at all possible. Please reply with the answers to these questions.
  • Include Any text found in the Details section of the error dialog.
  • A detailed error log for the installation. To create an error log, follow the instructions found in KnowledgeBase 39BDT32Q: How Do I Generate an Error Log File for a Software Installation?
  • Is the error happening on a clean machine (A newly reformatted/imaged machine)?
  • Are there or have there been any NI products installed on this machine? If possible, retrieve a list of installed NI software from MAX
  • What is the OS?
  • Was it able to run on any otehr machines?
  • Have you tried to uninstall or clean the registry in order troubleshoot this issue? Did that help?
  • Are there any other troubleshooting steps the customer tried?
Apologies for the list of questions, but the answers will help to expedite the resolution to this issue.
