SubVI not executable

Hello!

Anamnesis:
I installed my LabVIEW 6i (german) on a new computer. Because I got some errors concerning types and classes I installed the update to 6.0.2. During the mass compilation process I got several hundred times (really!) the message that lvdaq was not a 32 bit dll. I took the only choice which was "ok". After an hour the update was completed and the errors disappeared.

The problem:
Continuing to create a new application I realized that several predefined VI, such as "Read from Digital Line.vi" can not be executed. The advice to open the VI and is quite amazing, as I did never change these VIs which are included in LabVIEW. However following the advice over several levels leads to the insight that a function can not be found in a library. This reminds me to the messages when updating LabVIEW.
So I suppose both have the same origin. I it posible that my lvdaq.dll is broken and might this cause the mentioned effects?
And, if so, where can I get a healthy one?

Many thanks for your support!

Hi Manuel,

nice idea. But I'm working with Win ME which does not have restrictions for user accounts.

Thank you anyway.
