Hi all,

 

I'm not sure where best to post this, so here goes.

 

I recently received a PXI system with a NI PXIe-4844 card. The system had LabVIEW 2012 SP1 and NI-OSI 1.1 pre-installed.

 

After getting comfortable with the OSI Explorer, I tried making a VI for the system. The OSI VIs were missing, so I thought that NI-OSI wasn't installed properly. Only after re-downloading the (1 GB!) driver did I discover that NI-OSI 1.1 does NOT support LabVIEW 2012. 😞 Thus I had to download another 1.4 GB driver (NI-OSI 2.0)

 

The driver page lists supported operating systems; it makes sense to list supported LabVIEW versions too.
