Suggestion for diagrams

Hi,

It could help to have broken VIs be marked on diagrams, just like broken wires are marked with black dotted line. Here is an example where I added by hand some decoration boxes, just so I can follow exactly where I'm going with debugging on this specific example. Would be nice to have this done automatically, like a tight black box arround each broken VI, 2-4 pixels thick. What do you think?

Good idea. I would suggest something a bit more obvious than a decoration, here are some ideas:

1. greyed out (same as "needs a relink"). I prefer this one.
2. Red, dotted frame
3. crossed out (this might be confusing, since a legitimate icon could contain such a cross ;)) 
4. etc.

 Of course the same should also apply in the hierarchy window.
