Suggestion to upgrade my system

The hardware and software I am using are:
LabVIEW: 5.1.1
DAQ device: PCI-MIO-16XE-50
Windows: XP

I am working for my University to develop a virtual Oscilloscope, Signal Generator and Spectrum analyzer by LabVIEW.
Frequency measurement should be up to several giga Hz.
Are there any suggestions to upgrade my system.
Are there any well-developed VI to be used for my current system?? Becasue I find that the sample program stored in LabVIEW is sometimes not match to the DAQ deveice.

Hello Cityu Terry,

Our fastest E Series multifunction DAQ device has a maximum sampling rate of 1.25 MS/sec (NI 6070E). If you are wanting a device to sample much faster than that, than I would suggest one of our high-speed digitizers. I have included a link below to one of our high-speed digitizers for your reference. The digitizers can be programmed with LabVIEW as well.
