Surface Pro 4 Core m3 tab for LabVIEW

I am planning to buy the Windows tablet shown below... the specs shown are adequate for a LabVIEW development environment.. just wanted to check if anyone has had experience of using these for LV ?

I'm not familiar with the m3 processor but it's probably fine. I don't like how there's only one USB port though. Do you need the features of being able to write on it like a notepad?

If you just like that it's small and light, I'd recommend looking into the Dell XPS 13. Now I am using the XPS 15, because I rarely take my computer out of the building, but they have been powerful and reliable for me.

I would have to agree with gregoryj's concern about lack of USB ports, your mouse is going to take that up all the time.

BTW: YES you are going to need a mouse, trying to create or edit LabVIEW block diagrams using a touchpad or worse yet touch screen is an exercise in frustration.

An actual laptop would probably be better suited for LabVIEW development than a Surface or any other tablet.

Probably cheaper too
