Hello,
I work on the synchronization of an optical chopper with acquisition of images by visible camera (38 fps). I want to detect Edge in the signal provided by the chopper and just after I want to start acquisition of the images.
I use the NI USB 6008 card to retrieve the Chopper signal (Square signal f = 20Hz). I started doing a program using the DAQmx and I did not get to sync chopper with camera, still have a gap between them.
Can you offer me some solutions that can help me solve this problem?

Can you tell us more about the synchronization you want between your optical chopper end your camera?

Thank you for your reply,
indeed I want to use the chopper to turn ON and OFF a laser beam that will illuminate my scene, it means that instead of turning ON and OFF my laser every time, I will use the chopper to do this role (Picture of my chopper attached )
So, the acquisition of the images of my scene which will be taken by my camera must be synchronous with the rotation of the chopper.
