Synthesis of time signal from Power Spectral Density (PSD)

Is there a VI that does this?  I would like to use it to drive an instrument using my DAQ.  Typically PSD magnitude and frequency boundaries are specified.  Test execution uses a random phase, frequency, and magnitude performed over a specified time interval.  I appreciate any suggestion.

Thanks for contacting National Instruments. 

National Instruments at this time does not have a VI developed to create a time signal from a PSD profile.  The signal processing tool palette has many functions for generating waveforms that could allow for you to program this application yourself. 

If you are wishing to generate a particular noise profile, the Sound and Vibration Toolkit has a VI that generates a pink noise profile.
