System Exec

I cannot find the button, "system exec". I know it is suppossed to be under functions->communications->system exec, however, in my functions pallette, there is no communications button. I have labview 5.0, does anyone know how to find this button?

I am working with LV5.1.1 and find the sys-exe exact at the position you
described. You can search for it in
....\LabVIEW\VI.LIB\UTILITY\system.llb. Or you send me an email, then I
can send you the vi.

Check to see which palette view you have turned on. Some don't dispaly everything. If you change it to the default, it should be there.
