I'm connecting a k-type temperature probe from my coffee roaster to the tc01 and am looking to log temperature over time.
I've updated to the latest firmware for the tc01
The probe came with a two separate leads, one for the LCD temperature read out on the roaster itself, and one for the TC01(or other device.)
I also have a separate thermostat that accepts two ktype connectors for taking temperature readings. I'm using this for testing. When I wire up both leads I can take accurate measurements on the thermostat.
However, when I wire the probe's wires to the k-type connector and then connect it to the tc01 I get very sporadic readings. I've tried both leads and each produce strange sporadic results.
When I remove the probe and use the exposed junction, I get consistent and accurate readings on the TC01.
How can I fix this?
In Summary:
When probe is connected to thermostat, I get consistent readings
When exposed junction is connected to thermostat, I get consistent readings
When exposed juction is connected to the TC01, I get consistent readings
When probe is connected to the TC01, I get sporadic readings

It looks like the TC01 doesn't work in this capacity. Check out thread above for details.
