TCP/IP Client RFID Reader

Hi,

I can open a TCP / IP connection to the reader via TCP / IP client. The client sends a simple hex command. The transmission protocol is also correct (tested with Microsoft Network Monitor).

How can you control the reception? Do I need a server or the server is a Reader? Reception Protocol payload is always 0 bytes. Does not work the command?

There's a TCP server example available. Help>>Find Examples>>search "TCP". Data server.vi is a good example.

I have seena all examples. Is my device (Reader) not the server? Need I a Server.vi ?

That would depend on your device configuration I think. The manual for the reader should tell you how to interface to the device. My suspicion is that the reader is a server but it could work either way. Wire Warrior
