I've got the TDMS importer add in for Excel installed. It generally works when I start up Excel but it stops responding if I open another spreadsheet I have with results in. Usually restarting Excel fixes this issue. Today it has stopped responding at all.
TDM add in doesn't appear in any search for installed software. I deleted the files from the hard drive. When reinstalling the installer ends with the message "no software will be installed or removed". In the end I recovered the deleted files and added it back in via the developer tab, COM add ins and it started working again. The whole thing has been very confusing.
Is there any way of kick starting the add in to work when it stops responding? I've had a look in the Excel Visual Basic editor where you can often see the code associated with the tool bar but there's nothing to see in there.
