TDMS with Action Engine (Functional Global)

Hmmm.  I'm using LV 8.5 with the DAQmx 8.6 and it works fine.  I've been using the technique almost since DAQmx came out.  I have actions like: init, calibrate, create task, config, run wave, abort task, shutdown.  I can string them together or run them stand-alone with no problem...  Curious.

I am curious why the DAQmx stuff is working when the VI goes idle. Since DAQmx stuff now is using (?) VISA check this to see if your AE start to NOT work.

I tried the "auto close VISA sessions" option and no change (i.e. it still works fine).

Here's the VI I'm using to control a PXI-6259 MultiFunction card but it should work for many models without modifications.  Try it out.
