TI EV2300 Labview VI --- Please

Hi,

Does anyone here have Labview VI's for TI EV2300?

Hope someone would like to share any VI related to TI EV2300.

I am currently working on a time sensitive project and it will be helpful if someone will share any VI related to the EV2300 to cut some chase...

thank you in advance.

BTW, i am using Labview 2012.

It looks like you need to interface using a DLL (BQ80XUSB.dll).

This is the only topic I could find that might help. The poster includes an screenshot of part of their code that's using that DLL.

Here's a link to the DLL download if you don't already have it.

Cheers

As far as I can tell, the zip file that the user posted in the link I gave is the only driver they supply...

I would suggest contacting TI directly to see what they suggest.

Cheers

Just got confirmation that the TI EV2300 will not work on Windows 7 64bit.

TI have a new product EV2400.

I am currently writing a Labview VI to read/write using EV2400 I2C.

If somebody in here have working VI for EV2300/EV2400 I2C, please share!

I should probably not post his on a public forum.... BUT  I'm going to!

First, understand that I have great respect for the Service Request staff at Texas Instruments and you should be talking to them or posting on the "TI E2E" forum.

On The Other Hand.  Some of the TI tools DO have shortcommings. (Grump- I have two TI Service Requests "OPEN and Excellerated" at this time but expect those SR's to resolve within days so....Chat with them OK?)

Spoiler
Hmmmmm... just as an aside, the TI E2E forums would have flagged "Excellerated" as misspelled without my clicking a ribbon barSmiley Sad

What's the quote here?  oh yes...."we can't all anticipate what silly things those darned USERS will do with our tools" It burns every developer now and then!  the "Good" companies will fix the tool.  TI and NI count on that list of good companies in my book.... you are just calling the wrong forum.  TI, NI what is the difference? well 512 is the same area code.

Sorry SIR JEFF BOHRER (Proven Zealot) if i spoil your day...

I post my concern also to TI Forum.  The purpose of my post to this forum is to ask anyone here (NI Forum) if they are willing to share their working VI for EV2300/EV2400 I2C.

I think thats one of the benefits of the forum, to ask other user if they can share their VI or information.

Again, I am sorry if i spoil your day. I AM JUST A USER WHO ASK ANYONE HERE TO SHARE SOME IDEAS/WORKING VI'S FOR EV2300/2400 I2C, nothing else.

Have a nice day SIR JEFF BOHRER (Proven Zealot)!

share?

More like make your "time sensitive" project work on time which you wrote in your first post.

Did you tell your manager that you are running behind?

You sound like your are angry about Jeff's message.  I certainly I hope not because I didn't see anything within Jeff's message that would warrant that kind of response.
